Review: Benefits They're Real Mascara

This is the first 'high-end' mascara I've ever owned. Purely because everyone's always told me that drugstore mascaras are plenty good enough. But, I saw this in Boots while I was there and thought I would give it a go, and I am so happy I have. This mascara is amazing.

The staggered bristles on the brush help to both comb through my lashes and grab every one and coat them in the product. The brush gets right to the tip of the lashes, helping to add volume and length. This is something some of my other mascaras I have claim to do, but it doesn't always work. However, this mascara really does. The last thing to mention about the brush is the tip, it's said to be a 'precision tip', and although it does help coat the smaller lashes that the brush doesn't initially reach, the product tends to be a bit thick here and so this makes this part of the brush difficult to work with. However, overall, I love the brush to this mascara, which is amazing because it's something I'm usually really picky with.

The product itself is a no-clumping formula, which, as long as your remember to 'wiggle' the brush as you apply it (which it does tell you to apply it that way on the packaging), this is very true. It both lengthens and thickens. It says online that it curls as you apply it, which I don't see, however, if you curl with your eyelash curler first it does help keep the curl, so maybe that's what they meant... although I doubt it.

The last point about this mascara is both a positive and a negative. This mascara is super long wearing, I found I get no fall out, it doesn't smudge, or move, at all. And so, if I'm going out for a day and don't want to worry at all about where my makeup is going, this is the mascara I use. However, it also makes it difficult to get off. You can, but you have to rub your eyelashes between your cotton pad (or whatever you use to get off your makeup) to get it to budge.

But overall, I love love love this mascara. It may be nearly £20!, which is more than I would normally pay for a mascara (and is one of the negatives (I think) of the product, because there are so many brilliant products for under £10). However, I think this mascara is amazing, and I am so happy I picked it up.

My Pandora Bracelet

I don't actually think there's anyone left in the whole world who hasn't heard of Pandora by now. The company is HUGE, and their charm bracelets are everywhere, nearly everyone I know owns one.
But, still, I wear this more or less every day, and I am completely loving this. My boyfriend bought me it for Valentine's Day a couple of years ago in Silver, because I don't know why, but I've always preferred silver jewelry over gold, plus the gold Pandora bracelet is scarily expensive so we won't go there...

The charms are quite expensive, and so I haven't been able to collect many, as I tend to receive them purely from my boyfriend. And I also have a few cheaper charms that I've picked up from craft fairs over the last year or two.

I currently own 6 real Pandora charms; the hearts safety chain, duck, teddy bear, perfect flower charm, interlocking heart pendent and purple faceted murano glass charm. As well as 4 fake ones, bought either from Amazon or from craft fairs, and they just help fill it up while I gather real charms.

I think this makes the perfect gift and I am so happy I've been able to own one, and although it's a little pricey, it's real silver, and you can personalise it beyond belief as there are so any charms out there, which range from 50p to £30, so it's amazing. I wouldn't recommend this enough.
