Summer Product Empties:

So, these are some of my favourite YouTube videos to watch as I love to see peoples impressions on things.. after they've finished the entire bottle, as by that point they are able to build up a really good impression of the product they've used.

Sorry mine is so huge, I've been meaning to write this post for a long long time, and so this will be a really long post. Enjoy!

Hair Care

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner Uplifting Volume - This has to be my favourite Shampoo and Conditioner of all time, I have gone through many bottles of these in my lifetime. It gives your hair a little boost of volume, but it's still manageable (as I find most volumising shampoos make my hair a nightmare), it also leaves you hair really soft, shiny, and smelling delicious. Plus, the scent lasts for nearly 2 days, so people are always smelling my hair with this! Love Love Love!

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner Rose Scent - I still like these products, but I think they don't smell as nice, or make my hair as nice (what a terrible adjective...) as the other Herbel Essences products, and so although I did like it, I won't repurchase, as I just feel there other products are better.

L'Occitan Shampoo and Conditioner (Tester) - I couldn't decide whether to include this or not, because they are tester samples. But I just felt so strongly about these. So, the full size bottles of these are about £17... EACH!!!! So, I expected these to make my hair feel like gold, or something crazy... But it left my hair looking lifeless, and my hair felt like straw, and so I used the three uses I got out this bottle in a row... but I was so happy when I came to the end of these bottles, because they just really didn't work with my hair, and I really wouldn't buy the full bottles... plus £17?!?!

L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner - Still can't make my mind up about these, they definitely made my hair look thicker, but also made my hair get tangled faster, and get greasy quicker.. and so... I don't know, I really don't.

L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickness Booster - This product was a weird one, it was like a clear liquid.. when it went on your hair it made your hair feel... terrible... And I don't really know if it worked or not... and so I don't think I'll repurchase

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry - Come on, who doesn't use Bastiste Dry Shampoo.. this stuff is a life saver, it smells delicious. Enough said.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner - This was amazing, the sea air while I was in Cromer really dried out my hair, and this product just fixed it, almost instantly, and I don't think my hair has ever felt so soft and smooth.

Bath Products

I Love... Perfectly Peachy (Tester) - I only managed to get one bath out of this, but I just have to say this. This bubble bath scent is seriously strong, like really really strong. So, unless you literally love the smell of peaches more than anything in the world, it's a little sickly..

Lavender Bath Foam - I love Lavender bubble baths, and this is just one of the many I've tried, was nice, smelt gentle, but still nice..

Tesco Relax Bubble Bath - Same as the previous one, but came in the largest bottle and so lasted for ages!

Pampered Bath Smoothies - I really like the bubble bath, it smelt sweet without being overpowering, and bubbled nicely...

Zoella Bath Fizzer - yes, I have a bath obsession. But, I prefer bubble baths, and so although these did smell nice, they weren't really my thing, and so I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

Body Wash

Bomb Cosmetics Mint Choc Chip Shower Butter - The texture and formula of this was amazing, it was a very gentle scrub, that gently foamed and so was inbetween a soap and a scrub. Plus, it seemed to be really moisturising. I really want to see what other scents they have and repurchase a different one, as this was bought as a present, and for me was a bit of an odd scent.

Extracts Mango and Nectarine Scrub Gel - I didn't really like this, the product was a gel that didn't really do anything... but it did smell nice, so...

Gold Body Wash - just a simple, slightly floral body wash

Kath Kidston Flora Shower Gel - ditto

Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly - I really loved this, and will definitely be repurchasing. It was a scrub that wasn't so gentle it didn't do anything, but wasn't so harsh it irritated my skin. It smelt amazing! Like all of this range. Plus, it just make my skin feel amazing. And it was only like £5!

Baylis and Harding Pink Peony Shower Creme - This was weirdly inbetween a cream and a soap... but was nice, and smelt pleasant, but don't think it'll be something I'll go out and buy.

Body Sprays

Nivea Double Effect Deodorant - This has been by go-to deodorant for years, and will be for many more. It works as a deodorant, which is obviously important, but is also moisturising... amazing.

Soo...? Deodorant/Fragrance Range - I found these at the back of a cupboard while I was sorting out, and so many of them were nearly empty, hence why I've got through so many, but they smell nice and I've always been more into these type of fragrances over perfumes.

Skin Care

The Raspberry Kiss Body Butter - The texture for this was sort of off putting, I can't really explain it. But it smelt really nice and summery, and was one of the lighter body butters. It did take a little time to soak into the skin and dry, but it was also very moisurising, so...

Callibelle Soft Cleansing Milk - This is the first cleansing milk I've tried, as I found this in the back of the cupboard, still sealed. It was a really effective makeup remover, while not being harsh on my skin. I really liked this makeup remover. However, I found it was a bit messier than a Micellar water, and so that was one of the downsides. But it was still really nice.

Lacura Body Butter - This was a really thick, beautifully smelling body butter. It was really moisturising, and so was perfect for my dry skin. I couldn't use this when the heat was really hot because it was just too heavy on the skin. But some body butters are like this.

Nivea Hand Cream - This hand cream is really affordable, lasts for AGES, and is also really nice. I love applying hand cream. However, I found the bottle was sometimes too big, as it takes up a lot of space in your bag when you're taking it round with you.

Skin Therapy Facial Wash and Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wash - Both nice face washes, both gentle, unscented, and I would probably repurchase either.

Malin and Goetez Grapefruit Face Cleanser (Tester) - This broke me out. It's probably because I have fairly sensitive skin, but yeah, for that reason I won't repurchase and I can't really remember anything else about it, except it didn't work with my skin.

Malin and Goetez Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (Tester) - However, this was really nice. Absorbed really well, left my skin hydrated without looking greasy. If I can find a full size bottle at a sensible price, I really want to buy this for the winter.

Make Up

Collection BB Secrets - I love BB Creams during the summer. This BB Cream was nice, but nothing amazing, it left my skin looking a little too shiny, but you can correct that with pressed powder. I probably wont buy it again, because I want to try out other products.

Mabelline The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara - This brush was really thick, and so I didn't use this on its own, I tended to mix it with a mascara with a less dens brush. However, it really was 'colossal' volume!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - I have already repurchased this, it's great for under the eyes, as its not drying and, like the foundation, is brightening. I love this!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eye Liner - The tip on the end of this eye liner is really fine and precise and so make eye liner really easy to do. I will definitely go back to this when I've finished some of the other products I have.

Nivea Hydro Care Lip balm  - Just a simple, hydrating lip balm with built in SPF 15. It was great for summer, and was really afforable. I really recommend this lip balm.

I kept my comments, one the whole, short and sweet, but I hope you enjoyed reading what I thought about the products that I've used up over the 3 months I've had off University this summer.

July Favourites

I can't believe another month is already over! But it has, and it's been a great month! I'm home from University, and so back at home and near the boyfriend. At the beginning of the month we went on holiday to Cromer and it was a massive heatwave and was insanely warm, and will go down as one of my best holidays ever. I've been to Woburn Safari Park and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo this month as well, and I love animals and so these were both amazing days out! So, here are my favourites that I've been loving throughout the month of July.

Hair and Skincare

Most of these products are so summer appropriate, because, as a whole, this month in England has been hot and so these have been essentials for me.

Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash - I absolutely love this! It comes out as a thick gel and gently foams as you apply it to your face, which are my favourite kind of face wash. It's 100% soap free, and has no fragrance, and so is really gentle on my skin. It also contains multi-vitamins and skin-loving ingredients. This, for the price you pay for it, is incredible. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Loreal Paris Express Pro Self-Tanning Dry Mist - This is in the shade 'medium', and is a spray on fake tan, and so it doesn't streak or get my hands covered in it. This tan is a gentle fake tan that looks natural, it's not REALLY dark, but makes me look like I've gained a sun-kissed glow, and as my legs are really pale, I use this all summer long on my legs.

Pampered Bath Smoothies Strawberry, Raspberry and Pomegranate - This smells divine, it's so sweet and summery, and creates the best bath soak. That's all I have to say..

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry - This is a cult favourite for everyone. And this one smells of cherry... what more could you want?! I use this for two purposes, either to clean my hair when I haven't got the time to wash my hair, or to add some extra volume into my roots or some grip into my hair when I want to do hairstyles that require less clean and silky hair.

Umberto Giannini Salt Spray - Salt sprays are a summer essential for me, they add some texture to a simple hair style; whether it be just down or in a high ponytail, and this one is amazing, just spray it in, scrunch it up, and BAAM your hair has more texture and volume in it.

Umberto Giannini Leave-In Conditioner - Sun and wind damage my hair, and so this conditioner creates a silky-soft hair and controls any frizz. I spray this in just after I come out of the shower and then either leave it to dry naturally or blow dry it and it leaves my hair really sleek and soft.

Tangle Teaser Wet/Dry - I'm so late on this bandwagon, but this is a life saver, it gets knots out of your hair without pulling any hair out with it. As my hair's got longer I feel like it's got thinner, and so, although I feel this is quite expensive for a hair brush (especially as I tend to lose them), I feel like this is a great investment in my haircare.

Make-Up

Real Techniques Buffing Brush - This is perfect for applying my foundation and concealer, especially around the nose and eyes and all those difficult places. I love this, and I think everyone, and their mom, and their cat, and, yeah, everyone they know, love these brushes.. so ...yeah

Beau Belle Powder Brush - I bought a set of brushes on Amazon, there is a review on my blog earlier, which you can read here. This one is my favourite, I love this powder brush, it's so soft and applies just the right amount of powder on my face, it's also just the right size to cover my face, and I can't recommend this brush enough, however, I only think you can buy it if you buy the set, but it was so affordable, and all the eyeshadow brushes in this set are incredible too.

Collection BB Secrets in Light - I've been loving BB Creams recently, and currently I've only tried two, and so I may be not the best person to ask about this, but it feels light and moisturising, while still applying a decent amount of coverage. Plus, it has SPF15 in it, which is an additional bonus

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - I absolutely love this Concealer for under-the-eye concealing, and it's illuminating as well. I don't think it's as great at covering up imperfections or spots, but this is by far my favourite for covering any bags and brightening up this area of my face.

Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder in Beige Clair - I've been using this over the top of my BB cream, as it is gently coloured and so adds an extra layer of coverage, it also keeps me looking matt all day, as well as keeping my base products in place. So it's a multi-use product, which is definitely a plus point.

Sleek Make-Up Blush Palette in Californ.i.a - This is a sleek palette containing 3 cream blushers, which are all summery shades. I love to wear cream blushes in the summer, and this palette comes with 2 shimmery shades and one matt, and they go with every makeup look I would ever do in the summer, and so this comes with me everywhere.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer - This isn't a very good contour shade, which some other bronzers are, but its great at adding a little colour to my face, and I've been wearing it whenever I'm having one of those 'no makeup makeup' days, as it's such a natural shade.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creamy Beige - I use this as a eye shadow primer, it is such a natural tan shade, and covers any redness on my eye lid, it stays put all day, and it means that any eye shadow I apply ontop also stays put all day. I own 4 of these now, and my other 3 are more colourful, but this one is a great base for any eye look, and I use it more or less every day.

Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Volume Express Mascara - This is just about to dry out, and I am definitely picking up another one. This mascara is great. The brush is huge, and dense, and so makes my lashes look very voluminous. I then tend to use a lengthening mascara to help separate and perfect, but this is a great mascara, and is something else I've been using everyday.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Stellar Pink - This could be considered quite a dark shade for summer, but it's one of those lip colours that you can build up, so it can be quite sheer or really vibrant. It's a shimmery pinky-red-nude shade (I know a lot of colours), and is so easy to wear, the formula of these are incredible. They are moisturising, and stay put for quite a while, and I love these lipsticks!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 32 - We all know my obsession with these lipsticks, but I love this shade because it's a coral colour, and so summery, and I get so much wear out of it in the summer. Nothing more to be said really...

Non Beauty

Tanya Burr - Love Tanya - I recently got hold of this book, and I love how it's written, I love that it gives you space to write your own thoughts and views and I love the content. Basically, I love this book. It's also in a really nice hard back copy and so will stay really nice for long time.

Ben and Jerry's Half Baked - Everyone loves Ben and Jerry's, but this is one of those flavours you don't often see, but I really love. It's a combination of Cookie Dough and Fudge Brownie, which are both mine and my boyfriend's favourite flavours, and so we often share this.

Tesco Sweet Vanilla Candle - I love vanilla flavoured anything, so this candle is delicious, and it was only £2.

Sophie Kinsella Confessions of a Shopaholic - These have been out for ages, but I love them both. The books are so witty and funny, and are a great light reading. The film is also amazing, I watch this when I'm having a lazy, girly evening. Plus, it makes me feel so much better about my own spending problems....

ZSL Whispnade Zoo - I included in this photo the stuffed, because I went to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, and it was one of the best days of my life. I can't recommend this day out enough, it's quite expensive, but we were there all day, and so it was totally worth it.

My Summer Essentials

Summer is my favourite season of the year! I love the sun, I love the beach and I love warmth. So, I look forward to these type of things every year! This is just a collection of all my summer essentials, that I use on (very nearly) an every day basis, they are my go to things, and summer would not be the same without them.

An honorary mention has to go to bikinis, which I haven't got here, and that's not because I don't think they're an essential... it's just because my washing machine decided to eat mine (as well as some other stuff of mine) when I put things in the wash a while ago... argh.

But, as we're in the middle of summer, this is what I've been using and will continue to until the days become colder and shorter (NOOOO!)

Sunglasses - I own a few more pairs than these three, but these are my favourite. The front and back pair I've owned for a few years, and are from New Look and I have loved these for ages, the middle pair is fairly new. I love sunglasses, they add an extra layer to your outfit which I love. Plus, there's nothing more unattractive than walking around, scrunching up your face because it's too bright...
Kimonos - Once again, there is a mixture here between new and old. I have fallen in love with  these this year, and these are the 3 that I've been wearing on rotation recently. They are absolutely great because they add an extra layer in the day to cover your shoulders from the sun (as I burn like crazy), and add a light layer to keep you warmer when the evenings cool down.
Pastel Coloured Nail Polishes - most of these are in my favourite range of nail polish (Barry M Gelly), and the last one is a 2True nail polish. But I absolutely love pastels in the summer, because they are, well, summery. Pastel colours look so great with a tan, and these 5 colours get me by perfectly, the 2True being a more natural pastel colour, while the others being brighter and more colourful.
Coral Toned Lips - lipsticks have to be my favourite make up item, ever! I find coral colours are perfect for the summer months, and these are my favourite three. I have a my Rimmel Kate Moss in the shade 38, Max Factor Colour Elixir in the shade English Rose and my favourite, Christian Dior Diorific in the shade Diva - which is a gorgeous red-coral and stays in put for absolutely hours and feels so creamy on the lips, I am in love.
SPFs - I burn like crazy, and so these are essential for me, as they should be for everyone. I've gathered all these products together in this category (and these by far aren't my only SPFs) because I have a few different products with SPF in them, starting from SPF 15. They all help to protect my skin from the sun.

Hair Flowers - There's something about summer and putting flowers in your hair. I'm going to upload a post in the next week or two about how I use some of these to create my go-to summer hair styles, but I absolutely love to use these. When I grew my hair out, I gathered together a huge collection of hair accessories to 'jazz' up my hair with minimal efforts. Most of the hair accessories in the left photos are from Primark (who do some great hair things), and the paper flowers on the right are just from a craft shop and I love them so much.

Denim Shorts - Need I say more?! These go with everything, they should be a staple in everyone's wardrobe. I live in denim shorts (and skirts.. but still) in the summer. I have a light washed, high waisted pair and a darker denim pair, both from New Look. New Look do some great denim shorts, go check them out!

Body Butter - this is my last summer essential. In the summer you usually show a bit more skin, and so this deeper moisturiser gets your skin looking soft and beautiful to be shown off to the world. During the summer I love to use fruity scents, such as Raspberry, and yeah, not more I can say about this really.

My Holiday Beauty (Non-MakeUp) Bag

In terms of hair care, I have an awful lot of it, so I really want to take most the products I use at home on a daily basis so that it stays as healthy as it can while I'm out in the sun and jumping in and out the sea or the pool.

Batiste is a must! Everyone alive owns Batiste, it can rescue you're hair when you either can't be bothered or don't have time to wash your hair. I absolutely love the Cherry scent, I think it smells deliscious! I can't recommend this product enough and have never found a dry shampoo that works and smells as nice as the Batiste range.

I have my Umberto Giovanni Leave-In Conditioner, because it really helps control frizz. I spray a generous dosage of this in my hair before I blow dry and it helps control everything, and leaves my hair feeling so smooth and.. not frizzy.. sorry don't really know another way of saying that. It also smells really nice, though I really don't know how to describe the scent, it's just sorta sweet...

I've been using Herbel Essences since as long as I can remember, I love to mix and match with scents, and I find they leave your hair feeling really clean and soft. This time it's the Rose Hip scent, and, let me tell you, like normal, it smells divine. And these bottles, although still not completely travel size, they still... look... smaller than the other bottles... so...

I have another Umberto Giovanni product, this isn't one that I use every day, but it creates my go-to look for summer. It's their salt spray, and I learnt about this time of hair product from Zoella when she did her hair tutorials, before this when I saw salt spray on the shelf all I could think what 'whaaaaatttt?!?!'... so this is a new discovery for me. But, it creates a lovely textured look, it can make your silky, smooth, just washed hair look like it has a more tousled look and for the beach this look is ideal, and I absolutely love it! If you have long, relatively straight hair, I really think you should try this type of product, because it's never something I would've tried but it really helps make you hairdo.

Finally, I have the Loreal Solare Sublime Spray, I bought this from my hair dresser a while ago, so I'm presuming you can still purchase this. It's just a spray that helps protect your hair against strong sunlight. Which, in England we don't usually have, but next week we're meant to have 30Deg+ (which is absolutely crazy!), so I packed it, because my skin and eyes are really sensitive to the sun, so I want to protect my hair too.

This is my list of Beauty items, and yes I know there are a lot of them, but I have dry skin that burns, really easy, it's not particularly sensitive to products, as I have never had an issue from anything I've used (except certain washing powders), but my skin just needs a lot of looking after unless I want it to be all dry and sore.

No.7 Soft and Soothed Cleansing Water - I know I have trouble with this, but it's currently the only one I have, and it does work, just takes a while to take make up off, and I'm one of those people, who just has to use something up if I've paid for it (unless it's really terrible). And you never know, I may fall in love with it yet.

Colgate Toothpaste - boring I know, but needed.

Collection Nail Polish Remover - when I'm not at work, I love to paint my nails as much as possible, and I'm taking a couple of different 'summery' colours with me, and so I want to use them. This nail varnish remover, works, yeah, nothing overly special, but it takes off your nail varnish.. so..

Natural Tone Aloe Vera Moisturiser - my mum and I bought this while we were in Lanzerote, and I've tried to buy it here and can't find it anywhere, so I'm sorry, but it is something I use sparingly, but absolutely love. It's one of those products that claim to turn redness (sunburn) into a tan, and it's one of the only products I've found that works! I actually tan with this! Which is like an OMG moment. It applies like a moisturiser, and does the job I want it to, so if any of you ever find it this, it was quite expensive (somewhere round £25 - it was a while ago) then definitely pick this up, though they may have changed the packaging by now.

Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel - we have like 3 pots of this at home, not sure why, but it's great, if you put it in the fridge it gives you instant relief from sunburn.

Bomb Cosmetics Cleansing Shower Butter - I'd never used a product like this before, but now I have, I will never not use one. This scent it a bit unusual. It's mint chocolate, but it sorta grows on you. And it works wonders, my legs especially feel really smooth and soft after using this. It contains grains of
something in it which helps remove any dead skin and then it has a sorta body butter consistency in it
which leaves your skin feeling super soft.

Satin Care Shaving Foam - again, boring, but needed.

Nivea Double Effect Antiperspirant - Ditto, I quite like Nivea antiperspirant as they help protect and repair your underarms, and since using this product I have actually noticed a difference, and am now a lot less embarrassed to show my underarms off to people.
So...? Kiss Me Deodorant

Nivea Hand Cream and Day Cream - my skin dries like crazy, and these are just some affordable, but effective moisturisers. They have no real scent, but they work, and I have no complaints.

Clean and Clear Deep Cleanse and Dual Action - I very rarely get spots much anymore (now I say that though, I'm going to have a crazy break out...), but when you wash your face with this you can actually feel it doing something. Your face feels slightly tingly afterwards, which it says on the bottle you should feel, and it's just another simple, affordable product which I think works. Although I'm really tempted to try some more higher-end face washes to see if there's a huge difference between the 'cheaper range'.

Kath Kidston Shower Gel - I don't even know where this came from, but I can't complain, it's a small travel bottle, and so ideal. I've never used it, but it smells lovely, so...

Dove Tinted Moisturiser - I'm not one of those people who's all about fake tan, I've had some bad experiences in the past of going orange, or too dark, so this is a nice in between. It gives you a slight glow, without actually doing anything, and just helps to leave my legs less sheet-white.

Another thing, that for some reason isn't on here is a Treacle Moon The Rasberry Kiss body butter. It smells of rasberries, and so is the perfect summery scent, and I love to use these for a deeper moisturising.

What's In My Bag? June/July 2015

I love watching these videos on YouTube. as I find it fascinating to see what people carry round with them, but I'm never really sure why, I guess I'm just a really nosey person. So, here's what I found in my bag. This is a standard set up for my bag, and is what I carry round everywhere, every day.

My bag is just from F&F (the clothing range at TESCOs), I know, really boring, but it's a perfect nude colour and for summer, and I love that it comes with two different straps so it's ideal. It's also huge, so I can fit so much junk in there...

I have my two apple products; my iPhone 5 and my iPod classic. I love them both so much, I bought them both second hand (because there is no way I could afford brand new ones!), but they are still in great condition and I don't think I could cope without them any more (sounds terrible, I know). I'm so sad they've discontinued the iPod classic, because they are amazing, I'm a music student at university and my music collection is... ridiculous, and this is the only thing I've found that'll hold it all!

Then I have my purse, it's just from Primark, but I love the colour, and it just holds all the things I need it to, and it's just one of those things everyone has with them. I also carry another basic, tissues, because, yeah, you sometimes need to blow your nose.

In terms of beauty/make-up items, I don't really take a lot with me, just the essentials I need because I find my make up stays in place, so I don't really need to carry them around with me. I have a deodorant, it's just one from so..? and it's a perfect travel size and I just spray a bit when I think I need a top up. I carry hand cream because I have horribly dry skin and when I'm out I always look down at my hand and think 'eurgh'... for the same reason I carry a simple Nivea lipbalm, I absolutely love applying these as they make your lips and hands feel super soft and moisturised. I carry whatever lipstick I'm wearing that day, which, for the last time I used this bag, is a favourite of mine, which you've already seen 1000 times, and it's my Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in the shade 32. I love to top this up, all the time, so this is an essential to take around with me. I also take my Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder and a powder brush from boots to keep my face looking matt, and this is ideal because it comes with a great sized mirror ideal for travel.

I always carry a tea bag round with me, these are from Waitrose and I can't remember when I got them, but I drink tea, all the time, and it saves you money to just ask for a cup of hot water and bring your own tea bag (they often only charge you like 20p for this rather than £1.99). I know this is such a cheapskate thing to do, but paying for cups of tea when I go out annoys me soo much, because you're paying £2 for some water and a tea bag! The other food/drink item in my bag.. is an empty chocolate wrapper, I'm obsessed with white chocolate, and obviously when I was last out I got the munchies.

I carry around a few hair things; hairbrush, a clip, and some hair bands, because my hair is really long and sometimes I just want to get my hair out of my face, and so these are ideal. And then I just carry some essential pills; pain killers and hayfever tablets, because I always find I need them when I'm out, not necessarily for me, but they're handy to have with you.

I have my remote for my camera.. which isn't in my bag, but that's because it is HUGE, and I have to have it around my neck otherwise my bag is really heavy.

Finally, I have my essential item, my little book. Currently it is just this pink one that I picked up from 'the Range' (a shop that sells homey things), and my pen (yes, it's covered in music notes and I'm a music student, bit cheesy I know) because I'm really forgetful, so I have it write down everything in lists in my book. So I carry it around with me everywhere.

So, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I carry round with me on an every day basis!

My Summer Holiday Makeup Bag

So I've packed all of my makeup for my holiday, and thought you'd like to see what I chose to take with me on holiday. It's all able to be picked up from the drugstore, and so all really affordable.

During the summer, I like to wear a light coverage foundation, and so I decided to take me favourite; Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in the shade Ivory. This foundation is amazing, it makes your skin look really awake and healthy. For the days we chose to spend being lazy, or I'm just being lazy, I'm bringing my Collection BB Secret Beauty Balm in the colour light, for a light coverage. Both of this products have SPF15, which, for a girl who burns really easily and goes bright red, is really handy.

For concealer I'm taking my trusty Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer also in the shade Ivory (I'm really pale..), I absolutely love this, and it is great at covering up bags under your eyes. I really want the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, but it's always sold out in my shade.. so I'm still waiting.

For setting powder I literally couldn't make up my mind between two powders, because I love them both so so much... so I'm bringing both, because I am incredibly indecisive. Bourjois Healthy Balance unifying powder is great for adding a healthy glow to your skin, and the packaging is really compact, and so will definitely be the one I carry round with me to touch up with. However I have recently (I know, really late) discovered the Rimmel Stay Matt Pressed Powder, and it's really new to me and so I really want to try it out. The packaging it not quite so compact, and doesn't come with a mirror (which my Bourjois does), but I just had to take it because it's so great at keeping your foundation/concealer put.

I'm taking my Bourjois Bronzer and Highlighter, and I love the smell of this, it smells divine, and the highlighter is wonderful. But, the bronzing powder has a bit of a shimmer to it and so I prefer to use my Rimmel Natural Bronzer because, as the name suggests, it looks far more natural, which is that I really like about this product. It only comes in one shade, but it really works for my skin, and so I'm not complaining.

In terms of eyes, I'm taking my two neutral Maybelline Colour Tattoos in the colours 65 - Pink Gold and 35 - On and On Bronze. I tend to use this as an eye base and they are such beautiful summery shades. To add the extra highlights and to go over the top of this I am taking my Revolution Redemption Palette Essential Mattes, because it contains every shade I would ever need, and I tend to wear matt eye shadow in the crease of my eye, and so this palette is perfect!

For my eye pencils, I'm taking my Maybelline Scandal Eyes, which is a liquid eye liner pen, with a perfect thin pen, it's like just using a felt tip! So easy! and it stays put all day. Absolutely love this product. In terms of pencils I'm taking my MUA Intense Colour Pencil in the colour Rich Brown for those more subtle days, I love wearing brown eye liner when I'm going for a more natural look. I'm also bringing my No. 7 Stay Perfect Eye Pencil in the colour Bronze, which I love to apply and smudge out, and it creates a really quick, natural and lovely eye look!

I'm taking my favourite mascara, ever, like ever. It's the Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express, the waterproof formula, because this makes my eye lashes look incredible! It's also great because it's waterproof, so while I'm getting in and out the pool, and maybe even in the sea... or maybe not.. it'll stay put and I wont be walking round with panda eyes until I get hold of some make up wipes...

For lips I'm taking my two Nivea Lip Balms. I own both the Hydro-Care one, which is great because it has an SPF15 to keep my lips safe and it's also really moisturising, but also rather boring, and the Pearly Shine one which makes it look like you're wearing a really moisturising lip gloss.  I'm then taking my three favourite Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks, in the shades 38 (a perfect pink-nude for those days when I'm going natural), 32 (a coral colour, absolutely perfect for summer, it is the most summery shade, ever) and 1 (which is their Red Nose Day special, and is a vibrant, bright red, for those days when all you want is a bright red lip). I'm taking my No. 7 Precision Lip Pencil in the colour Soft Blush to help my lipstick stay in place for longer, I absolutely love this because it's so easy to apply, and you don't need to sharpen it, I mean yes! (I hate sharpening makeup pencils.. it's the bane of my life)

For nails it has to be the Barry M Gelly range, because they're so easy to apply, they stay put for ages, they don't chip easily, and they are really glossy and gorgeous. I am absolutely in love, I mean I think me and these nail polishes need to get a room.... I've only photographed two shades here, but I'm taking five.. whoops, just couldn't choose. In the summer I love to wear pastels on my nails, and so the colours I'm taking are all pastel shades, and I love them so much! I have the shades  11 (a baby/pastel pink), 6 (the most gorgeous pastel purple ever), 5 (a sky blue), 13 (a pink toned orange) and 21 (which is an unusual colour for me, but I love it, it's a pastel, mint green, you should really buy this one) . I'll insert a pictures here;

I'm storing all my makeup in my new Primark Makeup Bag, I absolutely love it, it's such a summery makeup bag, the colours are just wonderful, and it's huge! And it was only £3, what more could you want?!

I know I'm probably taking way more than I need, but I'm driving to where I'm going, and it's only me and my boyfriend, so.. don't need to worry too much about space! Which is great for me, because I am the worst for making decisions! But I love all these products, they're great value for money, and this is basically my summer makeup bag, so I thought I'd show you. I hope you found this interesting, as these are the products I use all the time, and so am completely loving.
