Summer Product Empties:

So, these are some of my favourite YouTube videos to watch as I love to see peoples impressions on things.. after they've finished the entire bottle, as by that point they are able to build up a really good impression of the product they've used.

Sorry mine is so huge, I've been meaning to write this post for a long long time, and so this will be a really long post. Enjoy!

Hair Care

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner Uplifting Volume - This has to be my favourite Shampoo and Conditioner of all time, I have gone through many bottles of these in my lifetime. It gives your hair a little boost of volume, but it's still manageable (as I find most volumising shampoos make my hair a nightmare), it also leaves you hair really soft, shiny, and smelling delicious. Plus, the scent lasts for nearly 2 days, so people are always smelling my hair with this! Love Love Love!

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner Rose Scent - I still like these products, but I think they don't smell as nice, or make my hair as nice (what a terrible adjective...) as the other Herbel Essences products, and so although I did like it, I won't repurchase, as I just feel there other products are better.

L'Occitan Shampoo and Conditioner (Tester) - I couldn't decide whether to include this or not, because they are tester samples. But I just felt so strongly about these. So, the full size bottles of these are about £17... EACH!!!! So, I expected these to make my hair feel like gold, or something crazy... But it left my hair looking lifeless, and my hair felt like straw, and so I used the three uses I got out this bottle in a row... but I was so happy when I came to the end of these bottles, because they just really didn't work with my hair, and I really wouldn't buy the full bottles... plus £17?!?!

L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner - Still can't make my mind up about these, they definitely made my hair look thicker, but also made my hair get tangled faster, and get greasy quicker.. and so... I don't know, I really don't.

L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickness Booster - This product was a weird one, it was like a clear liquid.. when it went on your hair it made your hair feel... terrible... And I don't really know if it worked or not... and so I don't think I'll repurchase

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry - Come on, who doesn't use Bastiste Dry Shampoo.. this stuff is a life saver, it smells delicious. Enough said.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner - This was amazing, the sea air while I was in Cromer really dried out my hair, and this product just fixed it, almost instantly, and I don't think my hair has ever felt so soft and smooth.

Bath Products

I Love... Perfectly Peachy (Tester) - I only managed to get one bath out of this, but I just have to say this. This bubble bath scent is seriously strong, like really really strong. So, unless you literally love the smell of peaches more than anything in the world, it's a little sickly..

Lavender Bath Foam - I love Lavender bubble baths, and this is just one of the many I've tried, was nice, smelt gentle, but still nice..

Tesco Relax Bubble Bath - Same as the previous one, but came in the largest bottle and so lasted for ages!

Pampered Bath Smoothies - I really like the bubble bath, it smelt sweet without being overpowering, and bubbled nicely...

Zoella Bath Fizzer - yes, I have a bath obsession. But, I prefer bubble baths, and so although these did smell nice, they weren't really my thing, and so I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

Body Wash

Bomb Cosmetics Mint Choc Chip Shower Butter - The texture and formula of this was amazing, it was a very gentle scrub, that gently foamed and so was inbetween a soap and a scrub. Plus, it seemed to be really moisturising. I really want to see what other scents they have and repurchase a different one, as this was bought as a present, and for me was a bit of an odd scent.

Extracts Mango and Nectarine Scrub Gel - I didn't really like this, the product was a gel that didn't really do anything... but it did smell nice, so...

Gold Body Wash - just a simple, slightly floral body wash

Kath Kidston Flora Shower Gel - ditto

Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly - I really loved this, and will definitely be repurchasing. It was a scrub that wasn't so gentle it didn't do anything, but wasn't so harsh it irritated my skin. It smelt amazing! Like all of this range. Plus, it just make my skin feel amazing. And it was only like £5!

Baylis and Harding Pink Peony Shower Creme - This was weirdly inbetween a cream and a soap... but was nice, and smelt pleasant, but don't think it'll be something I'll go out and buy.

Body Sprays

Nivea Double Effect Deodorant - This has been by go-to deodorant for years, and will be for many more. It works as a deodorant, which is obviously important, but is also moisturising... amazing.

Soo...? Deodorant/Fragrance Range - I found these at the back of a cupboard while I was sorting out, and so many of them were nearly empty, hence why I've got through so many, but they smell nice and I've always been more into these type of fragrances over perfumes.

Skin Care

The Raspberry Kiss Body Butter - The texture for this was sort of off putting, I can't really explain it. But it smelt really nice and summery, and was one of the lighter body butters. It did take a little time to soak into the skin and dry, but it was also very moisurising, so...

Callibelle Soft Cleansing Milk - This is the first cleansing milk I've tried, as I found this in the back of the cupboard, still sealed. It was a really effective makeup remover, while not being harsh on my skin. I really liked this makeup remover. However, I found it was a bit messier than a Micellar water, and so that was one of the downsides. But it was still really nice.

Lacura Body Butter - This was a really thick, beautifully smelling body butter. It was really moisturising, and so was perfect for my dry skin. I couldn't use this when the heat was really hot because it was just too heavy on the skin. But some body butters are like this.

Nivea Hand Cream - This hand cream is really affordable, lasts for AGES, and is also really nice. I love applying hand cream. However, I found the bottle was sometimes too big, as it takes up a lot of space in your bag when you're taking it round with you.

Skin Therapy Facial Wash and Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wash - Both nice face washes, both gentle, unscented, and I would probably repurchase either.

Malin and Goetez Grapefruit Face Cleanser (Tester) - This broke me out. It's probably because I have fairly sensitive skin, but yeah, for that reason I won't repurchase and I can't really remember anything else about it, except it didn't work with my skin.

Malin and Goetez Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (Tester) - However, this was really nice. Absorbed really well, left my skin hydrated without looking greasy. If I can find a full size bottle at a sensible price, I really want to buy this for the winter.

Make Up

Collection BB Secrets - I love BB Creams during the summer. This BB Cream was nice, but nothing amazing, it left my skin looking a little too shiny, but you can correct that with pressed powder. I probably wont buy it again, because I want to try out other products.

Mabelline The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara - This brush was really thick, and so I didn't use this on its own, I tended to mix it with a mascara with a less dens brush. However, it really was 'colossal' volume!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - I have already repurchased this, it's great for under the eyes, as its not drying and, like the foundation, is brightening. I love this!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eye Liner - The tip on the end of this eye liner is really fine and precise and so make eye liner really easy to do. I will definitely go back to this when I've finished some of the other products I have.

Nivea Hydro Care Lip balm  - Just a simple, hydrating lip balm with built in SPF 15. It was great for summer, and was really afforable. I really recommend this lip balm.

I kept my comments, one the whole, short and sweet, but I hope you enjoyed reading what I thought about the products that I've used up over the 3 months I've had off University this summer.

Latest In Beauty #3:The Glamour Summer Edit

Latest in Beauty have teamed up with Glamour Magazine to put together this box of treats for only £17.99, considering the joint price of these products is worth over £90, which is incredible, and there are some products in here I am really really exited for! I just couldn't not get this box.

Nails Inc. Gel Effect Polish £15.00 Covent Garden Place - Another one of these! This one is such a vibrant, barbie pink, and I love to put this colour on my lips, so a great addition. So exited!

Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals £23.33 - This is a new beauty launch of the year, and I saw it advertised online about a month ago, and it really intrigued me. It's a powder that you brush over your face, and it looks a little like a light dusting of bronzer, but it develops a natural looking tan that says it will last for 5 days. So. I'm very intrigued.

Pixi Glow Tonic £9.99 - People in the blogging world have been raving about this tonic water for ages, but it's fairly expensive, so I didn't want to try it and then hate it, so this sample is great as it allows me to give it a go.. for free (? no really not free, I paid for the box... but still)

L'Occitane Shampoo and Conditioner (Full Size £17.00 each) - I would never pay £17.00 for shampoo or conditioner, but I have super long hair, and these are meant to be relaxing (as the contain essential oils), so I'm going to use these on my next pamper evening, it's going to be so relaxing!

Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon £7.99 - I already own the red shade of this and absolutely love it, so much, it's so easy to apply, it stays in place for most of the day (I only have to touch up after I eat lunch, and dinner), and the colour is incredible. In the box I recieved the pink shade, which is basically a 'your lips but better' shade, so I'm so happy I have this, like you have no idea, I really want to collect all the shades! (I sound a bit mental...)

Caudalie Divine Oil (Full Size £27.00) - This is a multi-purpose product, which is exiting. You can massage it into your skin and hair for a great summer glow and you can add it to your bath for a super relaxing bath. So, what more do you need?!

Seekers Of The Sun Luxury Temporary Tattoos £4.99 - I haven't really go into these, but next year (I know, very planned in advance), I'm planning to go to the 'Common People' music festival (in Southampton, where I'm studying), and so I will probably use them then, and probably not before, but they're really handy things to have.

Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish (Full Size £18.00) - This is an ultra all in one! It's a exfoliator, toner and a moisturiser all in one!!!! OMG!!!! So, you massage it into problem areas to remove dead skin cells and smooth out the skin, so it's going to be great! I just know it!

Eucerin Transparent Sun Spray £16.50 - This is a super high SPF (It's SPF 50!), and it's just a simple spray on, it doesn't need rubbing in, so your hands don't get sticky or anything. So its a really hassle free SPF so, really really handy.

Latest In Beauty #2: Capitol FM

This is the second box I picked up, and I think it may be my favourite because some of these products are what I've been wanting/looking for for a long time, but here is what it contains;

Latest in Beauty has teamed up with Capitol FM, to create a box full to the brim of holiday, festival and party picks for the summer this year! For a box worth over £57.00, paying £17.95 for this is an absolute bargain. I have to admit, I picked this up because I was going to buy some of these products anyway, and it actually made it cheaper to buy all the other products with it, so who could complain really?!

Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm in Berry £2.99 - I absolutely love Lip Balms that have a colour tint to them, because you can both place a colour on your lips and care for them at the same time. And Carmex are renowned for their Moisture Plus Lip Balm, so this was something I would've eventually picked up anyway.

Colab Sheer and Invisible Paris Floral Fragrance £2 - I really wanted one of these, as they're meant to rival the Batiste Shampoos (which are one of my staples), and so this is one of the products that drew me to this box. It's in a small, travel friendly size, and so ideal for in my handbag and for weekends away. Absolutely perfect.

Dr.Organic Organic Dead Sea Minerals Bio-Plasma Mud Mask £7.99 - I love face masks, and although I have dry skin, and so sometimes find these types of skins dehydrating. But I love to give my face a good cleanse, so I'm exited to try this anyway.

Fudge Urban Hair Art Sprays £3.99 - I've always wanted to try some products in my hair that will colour the ends and I can just wash them out. Because, I love my natural hair, and I'm really indecisive, and so it's great that I don't have to commit to anything (haha!). This is a purple (my favourite colour) hair spray which I'm going to spray onto the bottom of my hair like a dip dye... really exited for this!

Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection Ultra Radiance £6.49 - This is a factor 30 sun lotion, which says it's ultra radiance. Not much more I can say about this really, it's basically a moisturiser with factor 30 in it.

I Love... Perfectly Peachy Bath and Shower Creme (Full Size £2.99) - I'm looking for a bubble bath come shower gel for my bath that isn't lavender scented (which I use to help me sleep), and so if this is nice, it's really affordable to buy the full bottle (as this is only a sachet), so if I like it I will definitely buy more.

Malin and Goetz Trio - I've never even heard of this company, but they're little samples of three of their products that contain extra natural elements to supply extra vitamins into your face. So, I can't wait to use these three products;
Grapefruit Face Cleanser
Vitamin E Face Moisturiser
Lip Moisturiser

MUA Mega Volume Mascara £3 - I really love MUA makeup, and my current mascaras are coming to the end of their life, and so if this works, it'll be great to replace one of them.

MUA Eyeshadow Pallet £4 Poptastic - I don't often wear bright coloured eyeshadows, but I really love the gold colour here and I know I will get a lot of wear out of this colour, and it's just a great addition to my collection anyway.

Nails Inc Gel Effect Nail Polish £15.00 Soho Place - There is one of these in all three boxes I have, and this one is the most gorgeous green, with the subtle hint of blue undertones. It's so bright and vibrant, and so summery. I am head over heals with this colour.

Latest In Beauty #1: Get The Gloss

I went on Latest in Beauty this week, and bought three boxes which all arrived yesterday, and so the next three days, I'm going to write my initial impressions of the boxes. I absolutely love these boxes, because you can see what you're getting in the box before it actually arrives, and it's not a subscription service, so you can just pick them up when and if you want it.

Latest in Beauty teamed up with Get the Gloss to bring together this box of 8 summer must-haves, at at the combined worth of over £85, Latest in Beauty are selling it for only £19.00! So, I can't wait to give some of these products a go.

Philip Kingsley Swimcap £12.00 - My hair gets stripped by chlorine, because it's so long and thick, my hair care gets excessive, very quickly, and so I love to try new things out. This says it helps to protect your hair against damage from swimming pools, so.. this will be helpful all year round, as I love to go swimming!

Nails Inc. Gel Effect Nail Polish £15.00 (Regents Place) - I've recently become obsessed with Gel Effect Nail Polishes (mainly the Barry M), and although I wouldn't personally pay £15.00 for nail polish, I am exited to see how much the money difference will make in terms of chipping (as I think the Barry M Gellys are incredible). Also, the colour is absolutely gorgeous! Have you seen it?!

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Refine and Polish Miracle Balm (Full Size is £57.00) - This is a small tester of a product that claims to be both an instant exfoliator and a face mask in two. The full price of this is really expensive, so I'm so exited to try this and see what it does for my skin.

Salon Science AquaCacteen Hydro Soothe Cooling Spray £14.00 - This is to help re-hydrate your scalp, which is a problem most common in summer. The bottle you get is huge, and I doubt I will ever get through this, but it's a nice product to have in my cupboard for the days my scalp feels like it needs it.

Anne Semonin Eye Express Radiance Ice Cube (Full Size is £43.00) - You get one sample of these eye solutions for dark circles and puffiness. It's formulated with marine spring water with minerals, it helps refirm and moisturise the skin. And I only have one, so I'm guessing it's one of those products that has noticeable results with just one use.

Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator SPF8 (Full Price £42.00) - Just a simple (but very expensive) face moisturiser. I have a lot of problems with the skin around my eye, and am yet to find 'the perfect' (if that's problem) face moisturiser. And so if this does actually work, I am so desperate I would probably buy it...

Bourjois Aqua Blush £8.99 (Pink Twice) - I saw this in Boots a couple of weeks ago and nearly picked it up (good job I didn't really). It's a liquid blush that's applied with a 'chubby' stick, and I am so exited for this. It's quite sheer. and so very blendable but also buildable. So I am so exited! You have no idea!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR £14.95 - Not entirely sure what this is for.. It says its an oil for hair, face and body for moisturising, but it's glittery and gold... so not entirely sure what I'm doing with this, but I'll give it ago, and report back if I find some strong opinions about it.

This box is absolutely great, and I really recommend you pick it up (however, I always think these boxes are great...). You can't argue with the value for money, and if you want to find out more about it, the link is here.

My Holiday Beauty (Non-MakeUp) Bag

In terms of hair care, I have an awful lot of it, so I really want to take most the products I use at home on a daily basis so that it stays as healthy as it can while I'm out in the sun and jumping in and out the sea or the pool.

Batiste is a must! Everyone alive owns Batiste, it can rescue you're hair when you either can't be bothered or don't have time to wash your hair. I absolutely love the Cherry scent, I think it smells deliscious! I can't recommend this product enough and have never found a dry shampoo that works and smells as nice as the Batiste range.

I have my Umberto Giovanni Leave-In Conditioner, because it really helps control frizz. I spray a generous dosage of this in my hair before I blow dry and it helps control everything, and leaves my hair feeling so smooth and.. not frizzy.. sorry don't really know another way of saying that. It also smells really nice, though I really don't know how to describe the scent, it's just sorta sweet...

I've been using Herbel Essences since as long as I can remember, I love to mix and match with scents, and I find they leave your hair feeling really clean and soft. This time it's the Rose Hip scent, and, let me tell you, like normal, it smells divine. And these bottles, although still not completely travel size, they still... look... smaller than the other bottles... so...

I have another Umberto Giovanni product, this isn't one that I use every day, but it creates my go-to look for summer. It's their salt spray, and I learnt about this time of hair product from Zoella when she did her hair tutorials, before this when I saw salt spray on the shelf all I could think what 'whaaaaatttt?!?!'... so this is a new discovery for me. But, it creates a lovely textured look, it can make your silky, smooth, just washed hair look like it has a more tousled look and for the beach this look is ideal, and I absolutely love it! If you have long, relatively straight hair, I really think you should try this type of product, because it's never something I would've tried but it really helps make you hairdo.

Finally, I have the Loreal Solare Sublime Spray, I bought this from my hair dresser a while ago, so I'm presuming you can still purchase this. It's just a spray that helps protect your hair against strong sunlight. Which, in England we don't usually have, but next week we're meant to have 30Deg+ (which is absolutely crazy!), so I packed it, because my skin and eyes are really sensitive to the sun, so I want to protect my hair too.

This is my list of Beauty items, and yes I know there are a lot of them, but I have dry skin that burns, really easy, it's not particularly sensitive to products, as I have never had an issue from anything I've used (except certain washing powders), but my skin just needs a lot of looking after unless I want it to be all dry and sore.

No.7 Soft and Soothed Cleansing Water - I know I have trouble with this, but it's currently the only one I have, and it does work, just takes a while to take make up off, and I'm one of those people, who just has to use something up if I've paid for it (unless it's really terrible). And you never know, I may fall in love with it yet.

Colgate Toothpaste - boring I know, but needed.

Collection Nail Polish Remover - when I'm not at work, I love to paint my nails as much as possible, and I'm taking a couple of different 'summery' colours with me, and so I want to use them. This nail varnish remover, works, yeah, nothing overly special, but it takes off your nail varnish.. so..

Natural Tone Aloe Vera Moisturiser - my mum and I bought this while we were in Lanzerote, and I've tried to buy it here and can't find it anywhere, so I'm sorry, but it is something I use sparingly, but absolutely love. It's one of those products that claim to turn redness (sunburn) into a tan, and it's one of the only products I've found that works! I actually tan with this! Which is like an OMG moment. It applies like a moisturiser, and does the job I want it to, so if any of you ever find it this, it was quite expensive (somewhere round £25 - it was a while ago) then definitely pick this up, though they may have changed the packaging by now.

Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel - we have like 3 pots of this at home, not sure why, but it's great, if you put it in the fridge it gives you instant relief from sunburn.

Bomb Cosmetics Cleansing Shower Butter - I'd never used a product like this before, but now I have, I will never not use one. This scent it a bit unusual. It's mint chocolate, but it sorta grows on you. And it works wonders, my legs especially feel really smooth and soft after using this. It contains grains of
something in it which helps remove any dead skin and then it has a sorta body butter consistency in it
which leaves your skin feeling super soft.

Satin Care Shaving Foam - again, boring, but needed.

Nivea Double Effect Antiperspirant - Ditto, I quite like Nivea antiperspirant as they help protect and repair your underarms, and since using this product I have actually noticed a difference, and am now a lot less embarrassed to show my underarms off to people.
So...? Kiss Me Deodorant

Nivea Hand Cream and Day Cream - my skin dries like crazy, and these are just some affordable, but effective moisturisers. They have no real scent, but they work, and I have no complaints.

Clean and Clear Deep Cleanse and Dual Action - I very rarely get spots much anymore (now I say that though, I'm going to have a crazy break out...), but when you wash your face with this you can actually feel it doing something. Your face feels slightly tingly afterwards, which it says on the bottle you should feel, and it's just another simple, affordable product which I think works. Although I'm really tempted to try some more higher-end face washes to see if there's a huge difference between the 'cheaper range'.

Kath Kidston Shower Gel - I don't even know where this came from, but I can't complain, it's a small travel bottle, and so ideal. I've never used it, but it smells lovely, so...

Dove Tinted Moisturiser - I'm not one of those people who's all about fake tan, I've had some bad experiences in the past of going orange, or too dark, so this is a nice in between. It gives you a slight glow, without actually doing anything, and just helps to leave my legs less sheet-white.

Another thing, that for some reason isn't on here is a Treacle Moon The Rasberry Kiss body butter. It smells of rasberries, and so is the perfect summery scent, and I love to use these for a deeper moisturising.
