Latest In Beauty Box

If none of you have ever heard of this service, you really should! Latest In Beauty are a beauty box service, but not like the others. They have made up boxes on their website, which change every month or so. You get to see everything in the box, and buy the box you want. Therefore, you know what you are getting, you know whether you want it, and you only receive products you are interested in. I have purchased numerous numbers of these over the pass and have loved them all. It's a great idea!

But, they also have a 'Build You Own' feature, where you can chose the products you want in your box. The prices are really reasonable and it's a great way of trying products that are either harder to get hold of, from brands you would never have tried, or sample sizes of products you could never afford. You have to be careful when you order you know whether the product you are buying if full size or a sample. but they always tell you the ml or weight, so they don't allude you.

I personally love this service, and I ordered one a week ago, and this is what it contains;

Percy & Reed Hairspray 50ml

Percy & Reed Volumising Mousse 50ml

Exuviance Purifying Clay Mask

Good Things Manuka Honey Radience Mask 15ml

Ciate Nail Polish

Jane Iredale Smooth Affaire 7ml
 (Facial Primer and Brightener)

Burts Bees Lip Gloss 239

Burts Bees Lip Gloss 221

I'm really happy to give everything a go, and any products I love/hate will probably work their way on this blog at some point in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled.

Have you ever had one of these boxes before? or know a service similar? If so, let me know in the comments.

How I Store My Makeup

I tried to be as imaginative as I could with my make up storage, and I'm really happy with how it's looking, and I thought I'd share with you a few of the methods I use to sort my makeup out:

I try to keep it altogether, emptying makeup bags, and my bag itself. This means that I am more likely to use more of my makeup, and so less of it goes to waste. And I store most of it in a drawer so that they are stored in the dark and dry, and it's easy to see them all laid out flat. I keep my nail polishes on show, but out of direct sunlight, means I'm more likely to use all of them, but they won't get damaged as easily as they would on the windowsill.

As storage, I used old boxes cut up as storage to save money, and because I had them around. But many people use small plastic pots from Muji as well, which create the same effect, but cost more. I then sort my makeup by sections; foundation/concealer, face, eye shadow, lips, mascara/eyeliner.

On top of my dressers I wanted the space to look a little more interesting, and so I went onto pintrest (love that site for inspiration). I've used a toast slice holder to hold most of my palettes, as it looks cleaner and gets them used more often. I currently store some of my current favourite lipsticks in what is meant to be a spice rack. I picked this one up from a charity shop, but it's a really nice, creative way to show them off.

How do you store your makeup? Let me know in the comments.

Summer Product Empties:

So, these are some of my favourite YouTube videos to watch as I love to see peoples impressions on things.. after they've finished the entire bottle, as by that point they are able to build up a really good impression of the product they've used.

Sorry mine is so huge, I've been meaning to write this post for a long long time, and so this will be a really long post. Enjoy!

Hair Care

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner Uplifting Volume - This has to be my favourite Shampoo and Conditioner of all time, I have gone through many bottles of these in my lifetime. It gives your hair a little boost of volume, but it's still manageable (as I find most volumising shampoos make my hair a nightmare), it also leaves you hair really soft, shiny, and smelling delicious. Plus, the scent lasts for nearly 2 days, so people are always smelling my hair with this! Love Love Love!

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner Rose Scent - I still like these products, but I think they don't smell as nice, or make my hair as nice (what a terrible adjective...) as the other Herbel Essences products, and so although I did like it, I won't repurchase, as I just feel there other products are better.

L'Occitan Shampoo and Conditioner (Tester) - I couldn't decide whether to include this or not, because they are tester samples. But I just felt so strongly about these. So, the full size bottles of these are about £17... EACH!!!! So, I expected these to make my hair feel like gold, or something crazy... But it left my hair looking lifeless, and my hair felt like straw, and so I used the three uses I got out this bottle in a row... but I was so happy when I came to the end of these bottles, because they just really didn't work with my hair, and I really wouldn't buy the full bottles... plus £17?!?!

L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner - Still can't make my mind up about these, they definitely made my hair look thicker, but also made my hair get tangled faster, and get greasy quicker.. and so... I don't know, I really don't.

L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickness Booster - This product was a weird one, it was like a clear liquid.. when it went on your hair it made your hair feel... terrible... And I don't really know if it worked or not... and so I don't think I'll repurchase

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry - Come on, who doesn't use Bastiste Dry Shampoo.. this stuff is a life saver, it smells delicious. Enough said.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner - This was amazing, the sea air while I was in Cromer really dried out my hair, and this product just fixed it, almost instantly, and I don't think my hair has ever felt so soft and smooth.

Bath Products

I Love... Perfectly Peachy (Tester) - I only managed to get one bath out of this, but I just have to say this. This bubble bath scent is seriously strong, like really really strong. So, unless you literally love the smell of peaches more than anything in the world, it's a little sickly..

Lavender Bath Foam - I love Lavender bubble baths, and this is just one of the many I've tried, was nice, smelt gentle, but still nice..

Tesco Relax Bubble Bath - Same as the previous one, but came in the largest bottle and so lasted for ages!

Pampered Bath Smoothies - I really like the bubble bath, it smelt sweet without being overpowering, and bubbled nicely...

Zoella Bath Fizzer - yes, I have a bath obsession. But, I prefer bubble baths, and so although these did smell nice, they weren't really my thing, and so I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

Body Wash

Bomb Cosmetics Mint Choc Chip Shower Butter - The texture and formula of this was amazing, it was a very gentle scrub, that gently foamed and so was inbetween a soap and a scrub. Plus, it seemed to be really moisturising. I really want to see what other scents they have and repurchase a different one, as this was bought as a present, and for me was a bit of an odd scent.

Extracts Mango and Nectarine Scrub Gel - I didn't really like this, the product was a gel that didn't really do anything... but it did smell nice, so...

Gold Body Wash - just a simple, slightly floral body wash

Kath Kidston Flora Shower Gel - ditto

Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly - I really loved this, and will definitely be repurchasing. It was a scrub that wasn't so gentle it didn't do anything, but wasn't so harsh it irritated my skin. It smelt amazing! Like all of this range. Plus, it just make my skin feel amazing. And it was only like £5!

Baylis and Harding Pink Peony Shower Creme - This was weirdly inbetween a cream and a soap... but was nice, and smelt pleasant, but don't think it'll be something I'll go out and buy.

Body Sprays

Nivea Double Effect Deodorant - This has been by go-to deodorant for years, and will be for many more. It works as a deodorant, which is obviously important, but is also moisturising... amazing.

Soo...? Deodorant/Fragrance Range - I found these at the back of a cupboard while I was sorting out, and so many of them were nearly empty, hence why I've got through so many, but they smell nice and I've always been more into these type of fragrances over perfumes.

Skin Care

The Raspberry Kiss Body Butter - The texture for this was sort of off putting, I can't really explain it. But it smelt really nice and summery, and was one of the lighter body butters. It did take a little time to soak into the skin and dry, but it was also very moisurising, so...

Callibelle Soft Cleansing Milk - This is the first cleansing milk I've tried, as I found this in the back of the cupboard, still sealed. It was a really effective makeup remover, while not being harsh on my skin. I really liked this makeup remover. However, I found it was a bit messier than a Micellar water, and so that was one of the downsides. But it was still really nice.

Lacura Body Butter - This was a really thick, beautifully smelling body butter. It was really moisturising, and so was perfect for my dry skin. I couldn't use this when the heat was really hot because it was just too heavy on the skin. But some body butters are like this.

Nivea Hand Cream - This hand cream is really affordable, lasts for AGES, and is also really nice. I love applying hand cream. However, I found the bottle was sometimes too big, as it takes up a lot of space in your bag when you're taking it round with you.

Skin Therapy Facial Wash and Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wash - Both nice face washes, both gentle, unscented, and I would probably repurchase either.

Malin and Goetez Grapefruit Face Cleanser (Tester) - This broke me out. It's probably because I have fairly sensitive skin, but yeah, for that reason I won't repurchase and I can't really remember anything else about it, except it didn't work with my skin.

Malin and Goetez Vitamin E Face Moisturiser (Tester) - However, this was really nice. Absorbed really well, left my skin hydrated without looking greasy. If I can find a full size bottle at a sensible price, I really want to buy this for the winter.

Make Up

Collection BB Secrets - I love BB Creams during the summer. This BB Cream was nice, but nothing amazing, it left my skin looking a little too shiny, but you can correct that with pressed powder. I probably wont buy it again, because I want to try out other products.

Mabelline The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara - This brush was really thick, and so I didn't use this on its own, I tended to mix it with a mascara with a less dens brush. However, it really was 'colossal' volume!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - I have already repurchased this, it's great for under the eyes, as its not drying and, like the foundation, is brightening. I love this!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eye Liner - The tip on the end of this eye liner is really fine and precise and so make eye liner really easy to do. I will definitely go back to this when I've finished some of the other products I have.

Nivea Hydro Care Lip balm  - Just a simple, hydrating lip balm with built in SPF 15. It was great for summer, and was really afforable. I really recommend this lip balm.

I kept my comments, one the whole, short and sweet, but I hope you enjoyed reading what I thought about the products that I've used up over the 3 months I've had off University this summer.

GRWM: Going Out For Dinner

Right, this is a bit different for me, but I'm just going to do a step by step process of how I got ready for my night out.

1. I showered using my Herbel Essences Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as my Frizz Ease Hair Mask (I also used soap, but I didn't take a picture of it). I used my Tangle teaser in the shower to brush through my conditioner.

2. When I got out the shower, I sprayed in the Leave in Conditioner and blow dried my hair, I then left this till later.

3. I then used my Garnier Micellar water to remove any residue from my face, I then toned and moisturised using the other products mentioned.

4. The makeup then begins. I start my using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to put my Loreal True Match foundation onto my skin. This foundation has amazing coverage.

5. I used my Collection concealer with the Real Techniques Contour Brush, and my Speedy Blush with the Real Techniques Blush Brush.

6. I fix all the cream products with my Rimmel Stay Matt Powder and my Beau Belle Powder Brush.

7. I then applied my Rimmel Bronzer generously with the Beau Belle Contour Brush.

8. I used my Spoolie to brush my eyebrows, before proceeding with my Angled Brush and Barry M Shape and Define Palette.

9. I used Belle Pierre Makeup Base to prep my eyes. I then patted on the shimmery gold shade with my eyeshadow brush.

10. I then add he darker, more coppery shade in the outer corner, and then used the blending blush to get rid of any harsh line.

11. I then use my Barry M Palette, which has the white shade, which I use to highlight in the inner corner of my eye.

12. It's then time for a quick little flick with my Rimmel Scandal Eyes.

13. I apply a few coats of my Benefits They're Real Mascara, and thats eyes done.

14. I then applied my Rimmel Nude Lipstick, which I chose because I was going out to eat and I wants a neutral lipstick so that when it budged while I was eating it wasn't obvious.

15. It was then time to get changed.

15. When I knew I wasn't going to be messing up my hair again, I used my texturising spray to make my hair less soft, and then put it into a side fishtail braid to keep it out of my face.

Five Minute Makeup

I very rarely have enough time to get ready in the morning. I start work at 4am in the morning, and sometimes it's just too hard to get out of bed! And so, here is a streamlined version of my makeup routine that makes me look presentable in just a few minutes!

Clean and Moisturise - This is probably the most important part of your makeup routine. If your skin looks good, you need less makeup, so I never skip this step! So I clean using my micellar water, to get any impurities out, and then I use a moisturiser, and try to use one that contains an SPF, and I both moisturise and protect my face at the same time.

Skip Foundation - I just use concealer to cover up any problems, and so saves a lot of time. If I'm having a bad skin day, then I use a light tinted moisturiser or BB cream.

Dark Shadow - Use a small pencil brush and dark eye shadow to line your eyes. This is much quicker and easier than using an eyeliner, but it makes your eyes look more defined and fuller.

Curl Your Lashes - I never used to curl my lashes, but have recently started, and now I can't skip it. It instantly makes your eyes look bigger, and when I've barely had any sleep, it makes me look more awake.

Mascara - Mascara will be your best friend. It takes less than a minute to apply, but instantly changes your look, makes you look more put together and awake, never skip mascara.

Tinted Lipbalm - if I'm in a rush, I always use a tinted lip balm. It moisturises my lips, gives them a bit of colour, and is so easy to apply. You don't have to use lip liners, and you don't have to apply a separate lip balm, and so it saves so much time!

Plan Ahead - I always get my makeup together on the desk, so that when I wake up, I don't have to decide what makeup to put on the next day, it really speeds it up!

Review: Benefits They're Real Mascara

This is the first 'high-end' mascara I've ever owned. Purely because everyone's always told me that drugstore mascaras are plenty good enough. But, I saw this in Boots while I was there and thought I would give it a go, and I am so happy I have. This mascara is amazing.

The staggered bristles on the brush help to both comb through my lashes and grab every one and coat them in the product. The brush gets right to the tip of the lashes, helping to add volume and length. This is something some of my other mascaras I have claim to do, but it doesn't always work. However, this mascara really does. The last thing to mention about the brush is the tip, it's said to be a 'precision tip', and although it does help coat the smaller lashes that the brush doesn't initially reach, the product tends to be a bit thick here and so this makes this part of the brush difficult to work with. However, overall, I love the brush to this mascara, which is amazing because it's something I'm usually really picky with.

The product itself is a no-clumping formula, which, as long as your remember to 'wiggle' the brush as you apply it (which it does tell you to apply it that way on the packaging), this is very true. It both lengthens and thickens. It says online that it curls as you apply it, which I don't see, however, if you curl with your eyelash curler first it does help keep the curl, so maybe that's what they meant... although I doubt it.

The last point about this mascara is both a positive and a negative. This mascara is super long wearing, I found I get no fall out, it doesn't smudge, or move, at all. And so, if I'm going out for a day and don't want to worry at all about where my makeup is going, this is the mascara I use. However, it also makes it difficult to get off. You can, but you have to rub your eyelashes between your cotton pad (or whatever you use to get off your makeup) to get it to budge.

But overall, I love love love this mascara. It may be nearly £20!, which is more than I would normally pay for a mascara (and is one of the negatives (I think) of the product, because there are so many brilliant products for under £10). However, I think this mascara is amazing, and I am so happy I picked it up.

Bedside Beauty

These are the products I use basically every night, just before I go to bed. I take off my pandora bracelet and my necklace my boyfriend bought me 4 years ago (which I wear more of less every day). My Kissy Missy Lipbalm by Zoella lives on my bedside table just because it now comes everywhere with me, and I always put it on my bedside table, just so I know where it is (rather than it getting lost in a bag somewhere in the bottom of my wardrobe).

The rest of the products are all different moisturisers of sort. Most of them are fairly heavy, and leave my skin looking a little greasy until they are absorbed into my skin overnight so that I wake up looking super soft and smooth.

Cath Kidston Lip Balm - this is a super thick lip balm that leaves my lips feeling really sticky, but I wake up in the morning and they are really soft, so I don't mind, but makes it a perfect 'leave-in lip balm'.

Nivea Hand Cream - this isn't a heavy moisturiser, it's just my current hand cream, and working in a restaurant situation dries out my hands, so I have to apply this as much as possible.

Liz Earle Superbalm - I often have dry and cracked skin around my eye, and so I apply some of this over the skin at night and it helps repair the skin while I'm sleeping. It takes a while to sink in, and when you first apply it, it looks quite greasy, so I like the apply it just before I go to sleep. This was really expensive when I bought it, but it lasts for ages.

Caudalie Huile Divine - I'm growing my nails long after biting them (I know eww) for the first 19 years of my life, and so they are super brittle. I got this sent in a lib box, and you are meant to be able to use it on your nails to repair them. So, I'm giving it a go... I'll let you know what I find out.

Huge Boots Haul

Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Conditioner £4 (£6.29) - The summer has damaged by hair, it's feeling brittle, and just not it's usual self, and so I decided I wanted to pick up a Conditioner mask for my hair to see if it could help. I've never used anything like this before, and this was on special offer in Boots, and as I've never used one before, I thought I'd just pick up a slightly more affordable one to start off with

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick, 101 £5.49 - I am IN LOVE with these lipsticks.. and so bought a new one. Love the formula, packaging, colours, pigmentation, everything. This is just another nude-pink colour.. again.. I know.. HELP

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick, 43 £5.49 - This is one of the new Kate Moss lipsticks (the nude collection), and so I had to pick one up. This is sort of a Kylie Jenner inspired lipstick, and is a browny-nude.

Exaggerate Full Lip Liner, Red Diva, 024 £3.99 - I've been getting into lipliners recently, and have been using my No.7 one a lot recently, and so picked up two from Rimmel. I love these because the pencil swivels up from the 'pen' rather than being a pencil that you have to sharpen.. which means I have to find a sharpener, which is not going to happen, ever. This is just a simple red, to go along with my red lipsticks.

Exaggerate Full Lip Liner, Eastend Snob, 063 £3.99 - This the second one I picked up, in a pinky colour, because these are the colour lipsticks I wear most often, so I really wanted one.

Rimmel BB Cream, Light, £6.99 - I've been using the Collection BB Cream, and I'm coming to the end of it, so I thought I'd try a new one, not sure what else to say about this at the moment..

Soap And Glory Supercat Carbon Black Eyeliner £6 - people have been raving about this for ages, and I don't own a Soap and Glory item yet (WHAT?!?!?!), so it was 3 for 2, so I thought I'd try some of the items out. I love eye liners that come in felt tips, as they are so easy to apply.

Soap And Glory Pillowtalk Plump Lipgloss, Cherry Up, £6 - I've never owned a plump lipgloss, I don't really know a lot about them, but this was my 'free' product, and so I thought I would give one I try. I got it in a bright red colour, because I thought it was beautiful, and a red lip with a 'plump' to it would be a classic look

Soap And Glorry Archery Brown Tint And Precision Shaping Pencil £10 - I saw Zoe over a year ago going on about this, and since then everyone's been going on about it, but I've never been into doing my eyebrows, so I didn't want to pay the £10 for it. But I've been getting more and more into my makeup, and so I thought I'd give it a go, I just got it in the colour Brunette.. because I have brunette hair... logical huh? I'm exited to give this a go, and see what the hype is all about. I love that it comes with both a soft pencil and a felt tip.

Borjois Colour Band Eyeshadow, Rose Fauviste 04 £5.99 - I've been loving the Maybelline Colour Tattoos, and when I saw this in Boots, and swatched it on the back of my hand, it feels similar on the eye, and I absolutely loved this shimmery pink shade, and so I picked it up.. why not?

Borjois Colour Boost Lipstick, Red Island 05 £7.99 - I love lipstick, you can probably tell, and so I thought I'd try out one of their pencil lipsticks, because I find these really easy to apply, but I don't own many, and I absolutely loved this colour.

Borjois Nail Polish Remover £4.99 - It claims to remove Nail Polish in a second, a second! If this works, it will be a life saver, I love applying nail polish, until it chips, and I have to spend ages removing it, so it this works, it will be amazing!

Barry M Quick Drying Nail Polish, Full Throttle 511 £3.99 - I just love all Barry M Nail Polishes, so much. And this is just the most beautiful pastel shade for the summer, and will look gorgeous with this slight tan I have, and so I picked it up, I'm obsessed, I need someone to help keep me away from the Barry M counter, please.

Barry M Brow Kit £5.99 - I don't actually own any Barry M Makeup, that isn't nail polish, and I love the fact that this comes with a wax, a powder, and a highlighter as well as tweasers, and so it a great little compact 'everything you need' palette.

Collection Speedy Blush, Tickled Pink 01 £3.99 - I tried to pick this up in Boots a while ago, but they only had a tester left, and I really wanted this shade. I've been loving more creamy blushers for summer, and so I really wanted to pick this up, as, as it says, it's 'speedy', as you can apply it straight to you face, how perfect is that?!

July Favourites

I can't believe another month is already over! But it has, and it's been a great month! I'm home from University, and so back at home and near the boyfriend. At the beginning of the month we went on holiday to Cromer and it was a massive heatwave and was insanely warm, and will go down as one of my best holidays ever. I've been to Woburn Safari Park and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo this month as well, and I love animals and so these were both amazing days out! So, here are my favourites that I've been loving throughout the month of July.

Hair and Skincare

Most of these products are so summer appropriate, because, as a whole, this month in England has been hot and so these have been essentials for me.

Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash - I absolutely love this! It comes out as a thick gel and gently foams as you apply it to your face, which are my favourite kind of face wash. It's 100% soap free, and has no fragrance, and so is really gentle on my skin. It also contains multi-vitamins and skin-loving ingredients. This, for the price you pay for it, is incredible. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Loreal Paris Express Pro Self-Tanning Dry Mist - This is in the shade 'medium', and is a spray on fake tan, and so it doesn't streak or get my hands covered in it. This tan is a gentle fake tan that looks natural, it's not REALLY dark, but makes me look like I've gained a sun-kissed glow, and as my legs are really pale, I use this all summer long on my legs.

Pampered Bath Smoothies Strawberry, Raspberry and Pomegranate - This smells divine, it's so sweet and summery, and creates the best bath soak. That's all I have to say..

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry - This is a cult favourite for everyone. And this one smells of cherry... what more could you want?! I use this for two purposes, either to clean my hair when I haven't got the time to wash my hair, or to add some extra volume into my roots or some grip into my hair when I want to do hairstyles that require less clean and silky hair.

Umberto Giannini Salt Spray - Salt sprays are a summer essential for me, they add some texture to a simple hair style; whether it be just down or in a high ponytail, and this one is amazing, just spray it in, scrunch it up, and BAAM your hair has more texture and volume in it.

Umberto Giannini Leave-In Conditioner - Sun and wind damage my hair, and so this conditioner creates a silky-soft hair and controls any frizz. I spray this in just after I come out of the shower and then either leave it to dry naturally or blow dry it and it leaves my hair really sleek and soft.

Tangle Teaser Wet/Dry - I'm so late on this bandwagon, but this is a life saver, it gets knots out of your hair without pulling any hair out with it. As my hair's got longer I feel like it's got thinner, and so, although I feel this is quite expensive for a hair brush (especially as I tend to lose them), I feel like this is a great investment in my haircare.

Make-Up

Real Techniques Buffing Brush - This is perfect for applying my foundation and concealer, especially around the nose and eyes and all those difficult places. I love this, and I think everyone, and their mom, and their cat, and, yeah, everyone they know, love these brushes.. so ...yeah

Beau Belle Powder Brush - I bought a set of brushes on Amazon, there is a review on my blog earlier, which you can read here. This one is my favourite, I love this powder brush, it's so soft and applies just the right amount of powder on my face, it's also just the right size to cover my face, and I can't recommend this brush enough, however, I only think you can buy it if you buy the set, but it was so affordable, and all the eyeshadow brushes in this set are incredible too.

Collection BB Secrets in Light - I've been loving BB Creams recently, and currently I've only tried two, and so I may be not the best person to ask about this, but it feels light and moisturising, while still applying a decent amount of coverage. Plus, it has SPF15 in it, which is an additional bonus

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - I absolutely love this Concealer for under-the-eye concealing, and it's illuminating as well. I don't think it's as great at covering up imperfections or spots, but this is by far my favourite for covering any bags and brightening up this area of my face.

Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder in Beige Clair - I've been using this over the top of my BB cream, as it is gently coloured and so adds an extra layer of coverage, it also keeps me looking matt all day, as well as keeping my base products in place. So it's a multi-use product, which is definitely a plus point.

Sleek Make-Up Blush Palette in Californ.i.a - This is a sleek palette containing 3 cream blushers, which are all summery shades. I love to wear cream blushes in the summer, and this palette comes with 2 shimmery shades and one matt, and they go with every makeup look I would ever do in the summer, and so this comes with me everywhere.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer - This isn't a very good contour shade, which some other bronzers are, but its great at adding a little colour to my face, and I've been wearing it whenever I'm having one of those 'no makeup makeup' days, as it's such a natural shade.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creamy Beige - I use this as a eye shadow primer, it is such a natural tan shade, and covers any redness on my eye lid, it stays put all day, and it means that any eye shadow I apply ontop also stays put all day. I own 4 of these now, and my other 3 are more colourful, but this one is a great base for any eye look, and I use it more or less every day.

Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Volume Express Mascara - This is just about to dry out, and I am definitely picking up another one. This mascara is great. The brush is huge, and dense, and so makes my lashes look very voluminous. I then tend to use a lengthening mascara to help separate and perfect, but this is a great mascara, and is something else I've been using everyday.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Stellar Pink - This could be considered quite a dark shade for summer, but it's one of those lip colours that you can build up, so it can be quite sheer or really vibrant. It's a shimmery pinky-red-nude shade (I know a lot of colours), and is so easy to wear, the formula of these are incredible. They are moisturising, and stay put for quite a while, and I love these lipsticks!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 32 - We all know my obsession with these lipsticks, but I love this shade because it's a coral colour, and so summery, and I get so much wear out of it in the summer. Nothing more to be said really...

Tanya Burr - Love Tanya - I recently got hold of this book, and I love how it's written, I love that it gives you space to write your own thoughts and views and I love the content. Basically, I love this book. It's also in a really nice hard back copy and so will stay really nice for long time.

Ben and Jerry's Half Baked - Everyone loves Ben and Jerry's, but this is one of those flavours you don't often see, but I really love. It's a combination of Cookie Dough and Fudge Brownie, which are both mine and my boyfriend's favourite flavours, and so we often share this.

Tesco Sweet Vanilla Candle - I love vanilla flavoured anything, so this candle is delicious, and it was only £2.

Sophie Kinsella Confessions of a Shopaholic - These have been out for ages, but I love them both. The books are so witty and funny, and are a great light reading. The film is also amazing, I watch this when I'm having a lazy, girly evening. Plus, it makes me feel so much better about my own spending problems....

ZSL Whispnade Zoo - I included in this photo the stuffed, because I went to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, and it was one of the best days of my life. I can't recommend this day out enough, it's quite expensive, but we were there all day, and so it was totally worth it.

Collective Highstreet/Drugstore Makeup Haul

The first place I went was Superdrug, where I did a bit of damage (to my bank account, not the store, I'm not a vandal...) I love the Superdrug in my home town, because it has stands for so many brands of Makeup that Boots doesn't. So here's what I bought;

There was two Barry M Nail Polishes for £6, so obviously I picked up two. I absolutely love Barry M Nails, and am trying to collect the whole Gelly Collection. So I picked up the two shades Rose Hip (a very pale pink), and Satsuma (a pretty orange shade). These are such summery shades, and I absolutely love them!

I know I'm very late to this trend, but I picked up the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair, I've been wanting this for ages, but every time I go in Boots, there's never one left in my shade, even the tester is missing! It's now reduced to £2.99, so a complete bargain!

I've recently bought another MUA Lipstick, and really licked it, so thought I would pick up another, this time in a shade that I have never worn, because I thought I'd pick up a cheaper one to see if I get into it. I bought the shade Wild Berry, which is a matt shade, and only £1.

I absolutely love Rimmel Lipsticks, and so when Kate released a new range of lipsticks, I just had to pick one up, so my first shade I've bought it the shade Berry Nude, 48, it was £5.49, and I'm really exited to wear this shade, as any nude shades are my fav.

I got another product half price from Rimmel (it was buy one get one half price), so I picked up a Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish in the shade Lovey Dovey, as I am yet to try this range of nail polish, and this shade caught my eye. At full price this is only £2.99

I've been wanting a Sleek Blush for a long time, but my Boots don't stock Sleek, so when I went into Superdrug, I couldn't resist. So I picked up the shade Flamingo which caught my eye, because it's just so gorgeous, and was only £4.49

I went on a bit of a nail splurge in various other shops, which wasn't intentional, but just happened.

I had £1 left on a Topshop voucher, and this shade was in the sale for only £2, so I had to pick up this shade; 401, Moviestar. It is a really nice, shimmery, metallic purple, and it absolutely gorgeous, I can't wait to wear it.

I picked up this Aquarium Collection Barry M Nail Polish, Mediterranean 441, because, well just look at it, it's gorgeous. And it was in a sale in River Island (of all places) for only £2. Omg I am in love, like completely in love,

My last purchase was more of a fascination than anything, it was only £1.20, and it's the Accessorise Nail Polish, Ombr Lilac, which, to be honest, I don't know how to use, but I'm sure I will learn.

I do this a lot, I didn't intend to buy any of this stuff, but I was in town waiting for my boyfriend, and it just sort of happened.. whoops...
